THE JEREMIAH SHOW - Featuring Jef Scott! The story of a rock and roll legend. Jef Scott's story is that of LA rock and roll lore...Strap in! Jef's first band was GEISHA. They played the Sunset Strip and toured the U.S.A. After he left GEISHA, Jef formed his own band. After playing a show one night at The Whiskey, he met actor Willie Aames who attended Jef’s show. Willie was a teen idol star from the ABC show called EIGHT IS ENOUGH. Willie asked Jef to write songs for an upcoming album he was about to make and their recording sessions ultimately landed Jef to act in the last season of EIGHT IS ENOUGH as Willie’s best friend and bandmate. Jef played on Tori Amos’ LITTLE EARTHQUAKES, international artists James Reyne( Australia), Paul Hyde (Canada), Gregory Gray (Ireland), The Royal Macadamians, and Olivia Newton-John, to name a few. When Jef wrote songs and recorded James Reyne’s album, James invited Jef to be his musical director and put a band together in Australia. Jef moved to Melbourne in late 1987, founded a great band including Andy Cichon (current bass player for Billy Joel), and toured the whole country of Australia for two years. In Australia, Jef formed a band called COMPANY OF STRANGERS. It was and still is one of the most successful albums in Australian history, winning Simon and Jef 3 ARIA Awards. Jef is signed to Sony/Orchard and continues to release new music. He has also written songs for TV shows SONS OF ANARCHY, VAMPIRE DIARIES, BEVERLY HILLS 90210, and MELROSE PLACE For the past 15 years, Jef and his writing partner Cody Marks, have teamed up with Wayne Kramer( MC5) and the organization JAIL GUITAR DOORS, playing concerts at California State prisons. Tim dealt with all aspects of play-by-play, working in tandem with the Eagles organization. Sabean was presented with an NFC Championship ring from Eagles owner Jeff Lurie for his commitment to excellence in supporting the team brand.
Sabean also owns Sovereign Communications, LLC and American Radio Broadcasting Company, which consists of 15 radio stations in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, with offices in Sault Ste. As a youth in the early 1970s, David Bash knew he had caught the pop music bug when he found himself unable to sleep each Christmas Eve, as he anxiously awaited the broadcast of the WABC Top 100 the next morning. By the end of that decade Bash had amassed a record collection of more than 3,000 items, and though it's since been mostly converted to CDs, the collection has never stopped growing. In the '80s Bash received a B.A. in Journalism from New York University and a Masters in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine. Although he taught Psychology at several community colleges throughout the '90s the journalism muse continued to beckon, and in 1995 he began writing CD reviews for Yellow Pills magazine and Audities magazine. Since then Bash has written reviews and articles for magazines such as Amplifier, Bucketfull of Brains, Discoveries, Goldmine, Shindig, Ugly Things and Entertainment Today, as well as liner notes for several CD releases. In August of 1998 Bash founded the International Pop Overthrow Festival In Los Angeles. Emily Duff has spent her career blurring the lines between rock & roll, soul, roadhouse country, and punk. She's been a solo artist. A bandmate. A multi-instrumentalist who strums the guitar plays the cello, and writes her own string arrangements. But above all else, Emily Duff has been — and always will be — a songwriter. "If you ain't composing, you're decomposing," she says. "I like to keep myself moving and keep myself writing. I usually write one song a day. It's been that way for years." Duff’s songs emphatically nod to the sounds that first captivated her attention as a child during the 1970s. Raised in Queens and Long Island, she gravitated toward the era's roots legends and soul singers: Kris Kristofferson, Aretha Franklin, Willie Nelson, Janis Joplin, Johnny Cash, Al Green, and countless others. Before long, she'd left that band and formed another group, Eudora, whose mix of Americana instrumentation and baroque textures earned them a gig opening for Bob Dylan and Paul Simon. From the stage of CBGB’s — where she played her first show — to the confines of her 340 square foot Greenwich Village tenement apartment where she is happily raising her two teenage children and hound dog with her husband, Emily Duff has never been afraid to chase her muse into uncharted territory. Don Stevenson | Moby Grape

THE ARWEN LEWIS SHOW - Featuring Don Stevenson, Moby Grape After years of playing a circuit of R&B clubs and events and speakeasies in the Pacific Northwest, Don Stevenson trekked down to the Bay Area in the summer of ’65. He’d recently joined The Frantics. The following summer he co-founded the iconic San Francisco band, Moby Grape. Playing ballrooms, like The Fillmore and Avalon, the Grape instantly became the darlings of the Bay Area, and the object of a massive bidding war. In the early weeks of ’67, the fivesome shuffled between San Francisco and LA with record company executives from Columbia, Atlantic, and Elektra elbowing each other out of the way, with contracts and pens in hand. Signing with Columbia, Moby Grape recorded their debut in a handful of sessions in the spring of ’67. The album came out a few days after Pepper and a couple of weeks later, the Grape played a killer set at the Monterey Pop Festival.  As a songwriting-singing drummer, Don Stevenson was a trailblazer, opening the door for the likes of Levon Helm and Don Henley. Moby Grape’s self-titled LP isn’t just one of the best debuts in history, it’s one of the best albums ever cut. It’s now over half a century after those heady days and today Stevenson is putting out his third solo album, Limited Engagement—Volume 1. Produced by Jamie Collins- SoundSuiteMusic, and featuring such talent as Tim Bovaconti (Burton Cummings Band), Dane Clark (John Mellencamp Band), and Dale Ockerman (Doobie Brothers), the album includes 11 stellar tracks tapping into all the genres Moby Grape explored so many years ago.  With another dozen tracks in the can, Stevenson’s next album is right around the corner and he’s looking into the past, present, and future all at once. At 82, Don Stevenson has every bit as much energy as those two generations younger and you’ll witness this when his band hits the stage at Massey Hall. By the age of 13, he started writing his songs and throughout his teenage years, he performed in local cover bands. He moved to LA and started a band called “MissionaryS". They secured a recording deal with Reality Records. After the MissionaryS broke up, he did session work at the famed Sunset Sound recording studio in Hollywood. He toured with Island Records recording artist- folk singer PHRANC. He also recorded with former Ramones band member Ritchie Ramone. He joined Irish singer Annmarie Cullen’s band as her bass player and co-writer on several of her songs including her hit “Ashes”. His latest EP is getting played on a lot of indie stations across the country. The songs “Plain Sight “ and ”Shattered Glass “have scored a couple of number one on some top 10 Indie radio lists in New York and LA. “Plain Sight “reached number five on the top 75 list a couple of weeks ago. “Shattered Glass” reached number seven on the Top 75 Radio Indie Alliance network.
